The Inspiration
These pieces are a homage to the cinematic masterpiece "Stalker" by Andrei Tarkovsky. I am fascinated by the visual language of the "Zone" – a place where time seems to stand still and nature slowly reclaims industrial relics.
The Design
The combination of vibrant turquoise and organic, deep red patterns reflects this contrast. Craquelure effect: The fine cracks and structures in the enamel are created by targeted temperature differences during firing. Fan shape: This elegant shape forms an exciting contrast to the rough, almost industrial texture of the surface. Handmade: Each pair is born in fire at over 800 degrees – no two patterns are alike.
